"This collaboration demonstrates the club's increasing global appeal and offers a chance to interact with our Asian supporters even more. We are eager to collaborate closely with God55 in order to accomplish big things.
God55 released a movie to commemorate the "operation between the two brands" as part of this agreement.
However, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) disclosed yesterday that 17 of God55's URLs were wholly unapproved and that it had no affiliation with God55.
God55 did not have a license with the MGA, and while using the MGA emblem on its websites, the corporation was using "false and misleading" tactics to appear legitimate.
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and MGA logos were also included in God55, but neither was current and did not connect to any additional details on potential licenses.
The question of how Birmingham City FC missed this is raised by the fact that online casinos are required to prominently disclose any licenses for players or businesses to view. These licenses are often located at the footer of the website pages.
The God55 online casino is not licensed with the regulators it claims to be with, according to a simple investigation of the business. Birmingham City FC has been contacted by Gambling Insider for comment, but we have not received a response as of yet. As soon as we do, we'll update this article.
